Delivered ten regional workshops on management-oriented evaluation to delinquency prevention program directors and researchers, followed by ten replications of the workshop at the local and state levels. The goal was to improve the self-evaluation and self-monitoring capability of delinquency prevention programs within Law Enforcement Assistance Administration, National Institute of Juvenile Justice, and Delinquency Prevention departments.

Training of trainer courses for alcoholism service providers for the National Institute for Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.

Education and training using development model programs for national replication for the National Institute for Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.

In support of the Office of Child Care (Development), provided training, technical assistance, and development of educational materials in support of a national effort to improve job competencies of early childhood educators and upgrade childcare and education provided in Head Start programs.

Education and training for former drug addicts to obtain management positions in drug abuse treatment service. URC’s Center for Human Services (CHS) established NIDP in 1971. This project was executed for the Office of Economic Opportunity and National Institute on Drug Abuse.

Consultation and evaluation services to the Chicago public hospital system to develop a job classification, occupational analysis, and career development structure.

Analysis of manpower, minority employment, education and training in the justice field for the Office of the Manpower Administrator.

Translated research on youth problems and programs into curriculum for OEO staff; establish an information clearinghouse on youth-related materials.

Technical assistance redefining roles of professionals and pre-professionals in health to increase skill utilization, job satisfaction, and program effectiveness.

Implemented an information clearinghouse that collects and distributes career and early childhood development materials nationwide. The system was built to support the Head Start program of the United States Department of Health, Education, and Welfare.
