URC has been awarded the four-year Quality Services for Health (Q4H) Activity by USAID/Ghana to support the Government of Ghana’s leadership to promote and oversee improved quality health services across the public and private health sectors.
Q4H extends URC’s legacy of working with the Government of Ghana. Most recently, we implemented the USAID Systems for Health (S4H) Project, which supported the Ministry of Health/Ghana Health Service to institutionalize leadership-led quality improvement approaches to strengthen the health system and increase access, demand, and use of high-quality health services.
Together with partners WI-HER and Navrongo Health Research Center, URC’s all-Ghanaian project team will ensure a sustainable quality health system for the people of Ghana. The URC-led team will use a people-centered quality of care approach to support local ownership in innovative data-driven behavior-led programming that enhances quality service delivery, citizen engagement, and uptake of healthy practices. We will support the government and other actors with a system strengthening lens toward building a trusted, harmonized health system that supports the workforce and holistically embraces citizens’ needs.
